Holland’s Next Top Electro Sound is coming (loudly) from the amplifiers of Electric AlleyCat. This four-man band, consisting of Jeditah van der Meulen, Joeri van Dongen, Erik van Woudenberg and a laptop, has recently recorded it’s debut album that sounds as if their lives depended on it. The ‘authorized noise’ of Electric AlleyCat is best described as, in their own words: “a bunch of guitars, 5 kilos of synthesizers, a wide range of techno beats and a voice that sounds like the child from Nina Hagen and Kate Bush“.
